We are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies is a book with a strong fantasy element. It features a large cast of people, including wizards and magical ideas, and encourages you to use your imagination to fully comprehend the plot. This book, which was authored by Matthew Tysz, is the first in a series of nine volumes that have been published continuously.

This book's goal is to introduce the characters and explain how they relate to the plot. Galen Bray, who has been residing in a region known as The Land of Princes, is presented to us. Due to the wars and famine that plague this region, it has its unique problems. Galen sets out on a journey to Voulhire after learning that he has inherited his uncle's property there with the intention of taking care of his inheritance and leaving his country. When he first arrives in Voulhire, he thinks it is a lovely place, but that is not the case because there is a strong wizard seeking retribution, and as if that weren't bad enough, we are also introduced to a rival group called Riva Rohavi, which is plotting to overthrow the kingdom of Voulhire.

This work was made more intriguing by the author's choice to focus on several subjects rather than just one. At first, I had trouble explaining how specific characters fit into the narrative, but as I read on, I became aware of how they all contributed to the enjoyment of the story. I was impressed by the author's ability to describe things such that the reader could readily use their imagination. He also provided a reference list for words that were used in Voulhire but were challenging to comprehend. As a result, I was able to comprehend certain terms and phrases, which made it easier for me to read this book.

I found nothing in this book to be objectionable. I found this book to be unpredictable and entertaining to read because of the author's ability to incorporate many story twists. Additionally, I enjoyed how this novel was structured and how effectively the characters interacted. My favorite character was Lord Eldus Alderman, who was constantly thinking of ways to further grow his kingdom of Hillport and wanted to make sure it was always well-developed. Galen Bray was someone I also admired because he was non-selfish and had a lot of kindness in him.

This book's lack of grammatical faults indicated to me that it had been expertly edited. I will thus give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I advise fans of fantasy literature to read this book. However, because this novel contains multiple instances of violence, I do not advise it to those who are sensitive to it.
