At some point in life, individuals are confronted with a pivotal decision: to persist in enduring poverty and suffering, accepting their fate and succumbing to it, or to take action and forge a new path towards a different destiny. Galen Bray found himself at this critical juncture and chose to take control of his fate, determined to alter the course of his life.

In this book, Galen assumes the role of the protagonist. From the tender age of seven, Galen's world was shaped by the relentless grip of war, suffering, and poverty that plagued the Land of the Princes, his birthplace. The specter of conflict loomed over Galen's existence for two decades, leaving an indelible mark on his perspective and experiences.

"We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" is an immersive fictional novel penned by Matthew Tysz, spanning 330 pages. Reading this book is akin to unraveling a mysterious package, with each layer revealing surprising and delightful gifts. The story and its characters are gradually unleashed, allowing readers to witness the growth and evolution of each individual. This aspect of the book particularly resonated with me, highlighting the author's unique writing style. The storytelling is crafted with such finesse, leaving readers with an impeccable and satisfying taste as they delve deeper into the narrative.

This book's diverse cast of characters captured my attention, each playing a significant role that added depth and direction to the story. King Wilhelm, portrayed as the "people's king," initially appeared saintly, but his hidden secrets revealed a more complex character as the tale unfolded. On the other hand, Maido exuded arrogance and hostility, making him a character I disliked intensely. In contrast, Lord Meldorath emerged as my favorite—a formidable mage with unmatched power and a level-headed and brilliant nature. Furthermore, I was enthralled by the gorgeous front cover of the book, a magnificent visual that sparked countless ideas about the novel's future. Its allure truly resonated with me, enhancing my enjoyment of the book.

I had no dislikes about this book whatsoever. Consequently, I wholeheartedly give it a five out of five-star rating due to its excellent quality and my immense enjoyment while reading it. Furthermore, I must acknowledge the impeccable editing, as I encountered no errors. With great confidence, I recommend this book to those who cherish adventure and thriller novels, as it is sure to captivate and satisfy their literary appetite.

Voulhire was an intriguing fantasy world with thoughts like magic, politics, and the villain, Meldorath. Now this Meldorath intrigued me. He was feared by many and his ways were mysterious. Nice review.
