We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a fantasy novel that describes the story of Galen Bray and how he escaped from the land of princes due to a war breakout into the kingdom of Voulhire, which is described as a special kingdom where all the tools are provided to shape a perfect world. Is Galen making a mistake by fleeing the land of princes? Would life in Voulhire turn out to be the exact life he's fleeing from in the land of princes?

The king of lullabies, a wise but wicked king, had four sons, all of whom had legitimate claims to the throne. He became bothered that one day his sons would all plot to overthrow him. Led by his fears, he devised a plan to make sure this didn't happen. This plan works, but at what cost? The story centers on Galen Bray, who flees from the land of princes and sets sail for Voulhire. Questioned by a member of the ship, he and other people share their reasons for going to Voulhire, which, unlike the land of princes, is known as the land of opportunities. Galen shares that he is traveling to Voulhire to take over a forge owned by his great-uncle, who was at the point of death.

Matthew Tysz sure did a thing with this book. I was totally impressed at how perfect the book was in every way. His ability to bring each character to life, painting a picture in each reader's mind, makes it very captivating and easy to comprehend. I liked how each chapter focuses on a different character, making it easy to understand their role without confusing the reader.

One of the characters I really enjoyed was Galen's. His story was one of the most relatable. He was lovable and brave to try out a new experience, even though he didn't know what awaited him in Voulhire. Also, I like the portrayal of the emperor of lullabies, whose wisdom was evident in handling his four sons, giving none any advantage when devising his plan.

I disliked nothing about the book. It was an interesting read. I'm rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. The author did exceptional work editing this book, as I observed no grammatical errors or mistakes. He sure deserves his accolades. I loved how effortlessly captivating the book was, leaving no room for boredom. I recommend this book for people who love a well-edited novel as well as those who love fantasy stories, magic, and action-packed stories.

The books worldbuilding was outstanding. The authors vivid descriptions were top-notch, and the story was enjoyable. Only maybe too many characters that it's hard to identify the main character.
The gift turned out to be a curse. They killed him with kindness.
