Alison Demzon's gripping science fiction novel, The Requium Report, delves into the realms of mystery, murder, advanced technology, friendship, and the profound impact of betrayal. At the heart of the story is Stephanie McIntyre, a skilled private investigator who becomes embroiled in a case involving a missing doctor from the Requium Scientific Institute.

Through her collaboration with Joe, a detective from the Colorado Springs Police Department, as well as the support of her companions, Stephanie gradually unravels the truth: the doctor is not missing, but rather in hiding. Along the way, she uncovers startling revelations about a covert apocalyptic cult masquerading as a scientific corporation. Will Stephanie be content with locating the vanished doctor, or will she summon the courage to avert the impending global catastrophe that appears inevitable?

The author skillfully generated tension and suspense in the reader's mind with each chapter's conclusion. Once I delved into the story, it became incredibly challenging for me to tear myself away. Just when I thought the commotion had ceased, it unexpectedly erupted again with even greater intensity. Stephanie McIntyre, the main character, exuded a captivating charm and unwavering determination. Even after discovering Matt's whereabouts, she remained driven not only to uncover the truth but also to prevent the impending global catastrophe, despite frequently facing life-threatening situations.

I had no reservations or criticisms about the book as the author's writing style was immensely captivating, and I found great pleasure in the captivating chapter captions. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend it to enthusiasts of thrillers, crime, and fiction genres. Moreover, I would also suggest it to scientists and researchers, as they may find it intriguing.

I gave this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars because, despite not having explored the author's other literary works yet, I am confident that I will eagerly engage with another one of her books in the future. The book was exceptionally well-edited and error-free.
