This book is one of the best books I have read up until now. However it is only an introduction. I can't say if it is one of my favourites just yet. Thus I will give this book a rating 4 out of 5.
The storyline is very good, not too complicated to follow with quite a handful of mystery down the storyline which makes the book very exciting to read.
The book is written very well with no mistakes as far as I could notice while reading, which shows a very exceptional editing of the book and the very thorough work that has been made to write/edit the book. The language used is quite difficult but not too much thus based on the language alone I would say this book should be for the age above 16. However based on content I would maybe even raise this age up to 18+.
There is a glossary at the end of the book which is very useful to read and get acquainted with before reading the rest of the story as it contains an explanation to important words, or Names of people to the story, but also gives explanation to the different religions that this world has.
The book also contains a map of the world which I found very nice because then you can also follow a bit more geographically where in the world you are while reading the story. It gives this little extra feeling of submerging into the world of Voulhire.
This book has a very in depth story as well as the individual characters are very well depicted and show their own character development.
This book is definitely for people that love fantasy stories/books such Game of Thrones, the Hobbit. I believe that this series does have the potential to become a series as good as these, which are my favourite stories so this is a very big compliment from me to the author.
I can’t wait to read the rest of the series when the other books are published. I hope the other books turn out just as well as this one.
