Galen has received a map directing him to Magnum Caelum in Voulhire. Running away from a war-torn city, he's uncertain about what difference it makes to go to a strange land. He could die in the land he has lived in or move to a strange city and still face death. He barely makes it to the ship in time, running away from his attackers. On the ship, he gets to meet different people going to different places in Voulhire. Soulhire and some other places seem like the more traveled path. However, he receives no information about Magnum Caelum. All he needs to know about the place can only be found out when he eventually gets there.

We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is an intriguing fantasy read. Galen has been left with a great fortune, and he must go to Magnum Caelum to claim his inheritance. Also, we get to see Meldorath, who displaced a Lord with allegations no one could prove to be true. There's a lot of intriguing mystery in this book, and I found everything to be pleasurable. The storyline was filled with suspense.

I couldn't help but admire the author's creativity. It is hard to believe that Voulhire does not exist in reality. The way the author painted the settings with vivid words was very exceptional. Voulhire seemed so real, and I imagined taking a trip there. The characterization was exceptionally done. All the characters seemed to be properly developed, and they were sufficient pieces of information about them. Also, the conversations were very realistic and humorous.

There were too many stories and settings in this book. If I had to mention something that disturbed me a little, then it would be the number of stories and settings. While they were all interesting and added some amount of color to the book, it was a bit difficult to reconfigure my mind to accept a different setting shortly after being immersed in another. Moving from one setting to another was a bit difficult.

This book was perfectly edited; I did not encounter any errors in it. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. While I noticed a disturbing aspect, I didn't think it was significant enough to make me reduce my rating. I recommend this book to lovers of fantasy, fiction, and mystery.
