I have stopped reading dystopian stories. The horrors of the present are more than enough to scare anyone. The younger crowd may enjoy this book, though. Getting picked to save the world may be an adventure that they can relate with. Not this granny though, haha.

"Obsidian Tomorrow" by Chad Wannamaker is a captivating sci-fi mystery that follows Jake and his friends as they face abduction and looming threats. Wannamaker's skillful storytelling weaves multiple plotlines, keeping readers engaged with suspenseful twists. Well-rounded characters and themes of friendship enhance the narrative. Despite minor editing flaws, it earns a solid 5-star rating. This is a very informative and honest review. Thank you.

I agree with you about the prose being engaging. I've only read the sample so far, but it's wonderfully written. I want to find out how the stories all pan out, even if they're not completely resolved. Thanks for the awesome review.

I like science fiction and mystery, this novel promises to maintain suspense until the end with its incredible characters. The book tells the story of a kidnapping that leads to a series of even more delicate cases, since there is a murderer on the loose. Good job #BOTD

Sounds like amazing to me. Suspense is always what makes the reader to finish the book faster. And every chapter ending on cliffhanger. Gonna read it in one sitting.

I was impressed by the author's ability to seamlessly weave together multiple plotlines, each one adding a new layer of intrigue to the story. Whether it's the mystery surrounding the abductions or Larry's personal turmoil, every thread is expertly crafted and contributes to the overall narrative.

Thank you for your great informational review. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. From the sample, it was written well and I'm glad that it was also edited well. It's great when authors explain the different characters so one can picture them even and each character is unique. I'm sure many who enjoy these genres will be glad to read it. Science fiction just isn't a genre I usually choose to read.

The story starts with an ordinary night in Seattle with Jake, Brad, and Larry, which they often do. By seeing the strange actions that were done by the hooded creatures, they are absolutely shocked, and their lives are changed. Congrats on #BOTD!

A suspenseful and thrilling novel that has relatable, well-rounded characters? It sounds like something I would 100% enjoy. I am not usually a big fan of science-fiction novels, but the description of this book has me very intrigued. I love the idea of the abductions, and I can't wait to uncover the mystery of what happened to Larry's wife. Thanks for the review. I'll definitely be checking out this book.

Jack and his friends may well be involuntary participants in this puzzle. On the other hand, detectives Fisher and Wilkes are hunting for the clues, which get more mysterious with the processing of the case. The story indicates some sort of conspiracy that might bring the world to an end.

This review was very descriptive and certainly awaken my interest in reading this book. A book that includes kidnapping by "an otherworldly entity to serve a greater purpose" is something I will definitely read. Well done.
