Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, written by Matthew Tysz, is a fictional book. It is the first installment of the “We are Voulhire” series. Galen's quest to find a new life in a new place is the subject of this gripping, action-packed tale. Galen, one of the novel's major characters, discovers that he has a fortune in Voulhire that he can claim. He fled to Voulhire from the Land of Princes, his home country, which was torn apart by famine and war as a result of the power struggle between the Emperor's sons. When Galen eventually arrived at his eagerly anticipated new home, he was welcomed by Rowan, who appeared to help him settle in and decided to improve Galen's quality of living relative to the Land of Princes.
The multiplicity of characters and narratives in the novel is its main selling point. The narrative is set in the made-up nation of Voulhire, which is a magical and enigmatic realm. The author has done a fantastic job of building a rich, complex universe with fascinating people and plots. The novel deftly blends each character's unique tale into the overall narrative. Readers can clearly see the world and the characters because the author has a flair for writing in a detailed style. For the benefit of the reader's attention, the book is jam-packed with action and suspense. The kingdom the author has created shows off his creative abilities, and the sense of awe it inspires is remarkable. Each chapter of the book is devoted to a different individual, and the story is narrated from a variety of viewpoints.
There was nothing that I disliked about the book; it was well-written and intriguing to read. The world-building was good; it seemed approachable and believable. Even the supporting characters' roles had an effect on the plot. My favorite character is Galen, since he is so attentive and humble. He made sure the forge thrived by carefully adhering to his uncle's instructions. I enjoyed the book from the beginning to the end, and it is gripping and well-paced. I am happy that I came across such a fascinating book to read.
The reader gains a thorough comprehension of the kingdom as a whole. The switching between the various times is flawless, and the writing is engaging and fluid. What I liked the most about this book was the use of simple language. There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it. Therefore, it was exceptionally well edited. I am rating the book 5 out of 5 stars.
I recommend the book, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, to lovers of fantasy novels.
