Favorite dystopian books

Post by sarahw »

I love the sci-fi/fantasy/horror genre, and a lot of my favorite books are set in a dystopic and/or apocalyptic setting. There is just something about them that draws me in. I enjoy social commentary, and I particularly love George Orwell as both Animal Farm and 1984 left lasting impressions on me. I've also read and enjoyed many other well-known books in this genre including The Hunger Games, The Divergent Series, I am Legend, The Giver, Never Let Me Go, Brave New World, and Fahrenheit 451. I'm on the hunt for more great reads, so please tell me about your favorite dystopian and/or post-apocalyptic books!

What is grief, if not love persevering?

Grief is just love with no place to go.
