This one is one of the more brutal, and not to mention weirder books I've read. It takes place in the distant future and follows the journey of a clone. The girl is bought by a rich woman to replace what was lost when her eldest daughter up and left without another word. Things start out as innocently as a teenage life story can get, but things slowly take a dark turn and you learn just what the clones new mother means when she says she must 'take care' of her brother. Not gonna lie I wanted to throw up after reading a certain scene. I'm still waiting for the sequel and hope to god things get better for her.
