Review: Pockets of Dead (Dawnland #1) by Karen Carr *spoile*

I really enjoyed the plot of this book. A zombie apocalypse and a girl who is not only immune but sends out an "aura" that kills them up to 1000 feet away? Awesome. I couldn't give this book a 5 star though. There were several parts throughout the story that left me wondering what had just happened. It felt like the author started a scene and then just dropped it and went on to something else. Overall I am anticipating finishing the series to see what happens, and to find out how the apocalypse started and why Hella is immune.
