Hounded is the first book in the eight book Iron Druid series written by Kevin Hearne. The books are craftily written with wit and an outlandish sense of humor. Atticus, the main character, is the last living druid and must survive the perils of witches, Faeries, gods and goddesses, as well as living in the human world and keeping his true identity a secret. He's been on the run for most of his life and his most loyal and faithful sidekick is his wolfhound Oberon. The banter shared between the two keeps the reader entertained and helps the story flow.
One of the best and highly engaging texts I have read this week.
