The Wandering Knight
by Jon Kiln

I can not remember the last time that I have read a book as truly enjoyable as The Wandering Knight by Jon Kiln was. Excellent storytelling at its very best. Jon's characters are so well developed that you will remember them and await the next book in the series. From the very first line in the book Jon captures your imagination. “She coughed, and now she was going to get killed because of it.”
Annalise is rescued by Jorgen Rackgard a knight and Svelockian warrior. Together they experience travels that lead them on an epic journey. Many characters enter and exit throughout the story. And Annalise grows up to become a very mature woman. At first Annalise tells lies to Jorgen to get his help, but she quickly sees the errors of her ways. I just love the exchanges between the characters and Annalise is quite feisty. Well written fantasy adventure. It will hold your interest and is really a fun read. No matter what your age you will love the morals that this story holds. Annalise goes from being a scared 14 year old girl to a woman with a cause. One of my favorite lines from the book. “It's one thing to take a country by force. It's wrong, it's evil, but at least it's honest.” Another line that I liked “The New Nationalists have more eyes than old potatoes.” Rated a true 5 star rating. I cannot wait for the next installment in this The Wandering Knight series. Jon Kiln has quickly become one of my favorite authors. Well done Sir John.
