Bowl of Heaven: Gregory Benford and Larry Niven

Being somewhat new to the sci-fi genre, I was pleasantly surprised after reading this book. The intriguing take on a Dyson sphere especially interested me, although those not interested in specifics might be off-put by the technical aspects of this novel, of which there are many. It offers a realistic portrayal of the possible future and how real people would react in such serious situations. This book is for the serious reader, interested in astronomy and the scientific and behavioral aspects of long-term space travel.
