This is an interesting epic fantasy. I have watched a lot of vampire movies and never read a book. I would want to read this. The plot is quite intriguing. Nice review

A book about a vampire that's rated 4/4 stars? Yes please! The story sounds so interesting I would love to read it. From the free sample on Amazon I can tell that the authors style of writing would be enjoyable and engaging! Great review!

This sounds like an interesting read. Knowing that Eric never asked to be turned into a vampire makes me sorry that he has to pass through so much. Great review

Thanks for this review. I enjoy the fact that Eric is able to live past his heartbreak with an unexpected adventure with new friends he never would dream of making and is capture able to capture attention with the different perceptive it gives to the world of vampires and how they live and survive.

Nightlord: Sunset by Garon Whited sounds like an action-packed novel. The cover page of this book is scary. However, this doesn't mean that the book is bad. The cover just portrays the idea of vampirism in the book. Thanks for this insightful review. It really gave an insight about the book.

It would be an interesting read trying to discover if Eric will avenge the untimely death of his fiancée under the hands of religious fanatics. Great review.

This is a great review! I really appreciate your point of view because unfortunately, when I read the book, I found the transitioning of the journal entries a little confusing especially when it moved from first person action to journal actions. You did have a great point though, referring to the message about Eric not allowing what he was determine who he would be because that was a major highlight in the series. But despite my reservations, I really enjoyed seeing a different angle to the typical vampiric representation.

I started reading this book but it lost my interest. I do hope to pick it back up and finish it because I hate not finishing a book. Great review though.

There are 2 things that appealed to me about the story; first- the diversity in culture and religion, second- the non-stereotypical representation of vampires. I'm curious to see Eric's transformation into one and his fight against the Church of Light. The fact that the book consists of 680 pages has me feeling skeptical about picking it up, but I'll decide once I've read the sample. Thank you for the wonderful review!

From the enthusiastic review on this book and the sample, this does not seem like a typical vampire story but with a mix of fantasy and mysticism. The protagonist certainly seemed like a Beta male, an everyday kind of guy who through a series of events finds himself to be a vampire. This genre is not something that captures my interest for long, but I can appreciate that it has an interesting plot and is well-written.
