The gift of a pair of designer running shoes to Emma by Vincent's father scared me. The story is well-plotted and unpredictable. I hope there is a sequel. Congrats on BOTD. Nice review.

“Knights of Orion Citadel: Illusion of Safety” by Avalon O’Clair is a story about Emma Borello and her father that she saw murdered by two brothers when she returned from winning a Karate championship. She used her Karate skills, even though her wrists were broken, to throw one of the assailants over the staircase railing and he fell to his death. His brother Vincent tried to attack Emma and she was able to get to the safe room and lock the door. She testified against Vincent and then entered a witness protection program. On her 18th birthday Octavio Russo, Vincent’s father, finds her and tells her that he sold his soul to a demon to send monsters to come for her, make her suffer but she will not die. Benjamin and Chase, two members of the Knights Templar that battle the Illuminati and monsters. They have a guardian angel that helps them but when they ask Ashriel to protect Emma after she was shot three times while helping the Knights battle vampires and Ashriel declares that Emma must die. I cannot wait to read this book and the sequel since I love stories about the Knights Templar and while this story involves vampires that make this a fantasy, I want to learn Emma’s fate and other battles that the Knights are involved in. Very good review.

I was fully immersed in the suspenseful fantasy world created by Avalon O'Clair. The fights against supernatural monsters and the tension derived from romantic feelings kept me on the edge of my seat throughout.

The author skillfully navigates through themes of vengeance, survival, and the complexities of human emotion, drawing readers into a world where danger lurks at every corner. The unpredictable plot twists keep the narrative fresh and engaging, while seamless transitions between character perspectives ensure clarity and coherence.

I'm curious about whether this book foregrounds the actual activities of illuminati members and why the errant members are not hunted down by government agencies. Thank you for the wonderful review.

A battle between angels, vampires, illuminati and monsters; this book's review was so interesting. I look forward to learning whether Emma survives, and what role she would play later. Beautiful review.

I liked this review. When I read the sample, I didn't get all the plot points--it was somewhat convoluted. I have more appreciation for the book, from reading your review

The concept of a curse becoming a blessing in disguise adds a captivating twist to the storyline of Knights of Orion Citadel: Illusion of Safety. The collision of Emma's cursed fate attracting paranormal creatures and the Templar Knights battling against monsters creates a suspenseful and intriguing narrative. Nice review.

The part where Vincent's father gifts Emma a pair of shoes is quite hilarious. The shoes are for Emma to run and hide where she cannot be seen.

Knights of Orion Citadel seems to be a pretty intense book. The story has many supernatural elements following Emma's curse and surrounding her guardian angels. Since there is graphic violence involved, I'm unsure if it'll be a good fit, but I'll read the sample before passing any judgment. Congrats on the BOTD!

This book is recommended to adult readers who enjoy slow-burn fantasy romance novels. I am not one of them. I admit that the reviewer has done a great job and the writer as well, of course.

I do enjoy reading suspenseful fantasy stories, but the theses addressed in this book are not for my liking, especially the paranormal aspect and the demonic idea brought forth.... people selling their souls to the devil, fight against the dark powers controlling the activities in the world, these are too much for me to consume. I hope other fantasy fans will find the book amusing. I'll pass, sorry
