David K Hall's book, 'Deep Reckoning,' explores a zombie apocalypse caused by a gain-of-function virus released by selfish leaders and scientists. The story depicts a world in chaos and emergency, offering a glimpse into a potentially alarming future. The book sounds like a good read. Great review.

I'm always on the lookout for thrilling apocalyptic reads, and 'Dead Reckoning' seems to deliver on all fronts – suspense, action, and intriguing characters. Plus, it's refreshing to hear about the diverse representation and how the author handles scientific elements with realism.

As I read the story in this book, I almost placed it side by side with the Covid-19 pandemic. I will read "Dead Reckoning" by David K. Hall to know if the deadly virus was contained.

The book was perfectly described in the review. The book's horrific narrative of macabre extremes is hinted at on the cover. Young readers shouldn't read this book, in my opinion.

This intriguing read is a perfect blend of mystery, horror, thrill, and sci-fi themes that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. What's more, the inclusion of gay characters who showcase their strength and romance is truly fascinating. This book is a definite must-read for anyone looking for a gripping and engaging story! Nice review.

It's always interesting to see how far humans are willing to go to ensure their survival in a dystopian situation. The blend of zombies and unconventional characters makes the book even more intriguing.

I would love to see what a zombie apocalypse would look like, as imagined by the author. The story must be really good if you'd be willing to reread it. Thanks for the review!

I am not a fan of books about zombies and apocalypses so I think I'll pass on this book. The scientific experiments that led to the release of this virus sound like an intriguing element though. I enjoyed reading you review. Well done.

This book seems to be thrilling book from the review. Although I'm not a fan of Zombies and apocalypses I will consider reading it because of the scientific experiments that led to release of the viruses.
