Good review. But, if you contend that the book is much more than the author said it is, who is right?
However, you are entitled to your opinion. Cheers!

Although the setting isn't what I'm normally interested in, I can tell the author of this book is really good at writing action and dialogue. I may pick this book up in the future.

Great review, I really want to check this book out now! I don't think I've read an urban fantasy novel before but it seems like an interesting genre and this book might be a good place to start

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting fantasy story about a teen whose family moves to a rural town Wisconsin, but he finds out that this town has a mystery that combines Christianity, Celtic myths and Native American folklore. It seems like it might be worth a second look. Well done.

This book has been on my wish list for the longest time. I hope I can finally get to the bottom of Conor Archer's secrets and powers. Let's go visit the world of Tinker's Grove.

You've written a very compelling and thorough review. Urban fantasy is not a genre I typically read, but you've made a strong case for this book. I'm particularly interested in how the author combines Celtic, Christian, and Native American lore into the story.
There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!

This sounds perfect for me. I like that some of the history was researched. Nice review.

If this book is as fun to read as this review was, then it will be a great book. If there aren't any "useless plot elements" in the book, it will be a great read. I love the fantasy genre. In reading the first part of the book and the author thanking the parents and siblings, I wonder if this is a younger author. Definitely has me intrigued.

Great review explaining the effectiveness of the author's writing talents. Unfortunately, I dislike the supernatural world stories and tend to avoid this genre so I am passing on this BOTD.

This book sounds like a dream to read, but for right now fantasy genre is difficult for me to get interested in. Great review!
