Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
By Matthew Tysz, "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies."
A reader will always cherish Matthew Tysz's book We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies.
From the Land of Princes, Galen Bray journeys to a mysterious, magical, and amazing world. As the beneficiary of his late uncle's estate, he is eager to settle down and begin a calm life there. However, Galen's ideas fell short of the mark. There were many vicious, depraved lords in power. How to purge the nation of dishonest politicians and restore it to glory was the question. The Lord for Hillport was chosen by King Wilhelm for this function. However, the impact of prior Lords who used magic was significant. The recently appointed Lord Eldus Alderman, a former judge, is unsure of how to address the persistent issues.
Will his efforts be successful? Will Eldus receive help from Galen Bray and his pal Rowan? The time is now to find out for yourself and set out on a memorable voyage.
The trip of the main character into a strange and captivating realm is remarkable in some way. The narrative format of the book enabled me to assess events objectively. Additionally, the novel's lighthearted comedy helped to lessen the horrific incidents related to mass murder and other sinister behavior. I occasionally found myself unsure of whether a line was humorous or factual. The dialogues included extensive descriptions of the speakers' mimics and gesticulations, which helped the audience grasp the actors' intentions.
I didn't find anything to hate in this book. I haven't looked back since I decided to read the book because of the amazing and distinctive universe it created. I started speculating about what other fascinating magical abilities the wizards would employ as I read the novel. Finding out how the characters would deal with their problems was entertaining. Action aficionados will be delighted by the abundance of action, and the good news is that it is presented sparingly rather than in abundance. Despite the chapters' shifting between time and events, I found the plot to be engaging and did not get sidetracked. On the contrary, it made it easier for me to concentrate and keep in mind that the incident or the individual referenced in the previous chapters will eventually arrive.
This book earns a five-star rating from me since it contains interesting ideas and a compelling plot. This book's plot twists, character strategies, and life lessons made it impossible not to flip the pages. Simple language and a thorough plot are included. Fans of fantasy should read this novel, in my opinion. Young readers might also find it appealing because they enjoy making up new worlds and using magic. Action enthusiasts will be drawn to the fight scenes between the magicians and their warriors.
