"We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" by Matthew Tysz has taken me on an extraordinary journey into the heart of a kingdom shrouded in mystery and intrigue. From the very first page, I was gripped by a tale that defies expectations, offering an unparalleled blend of science fiction and fantasy.

The opening scene, where King Wilhelm executes General Dalehei Meldorath, left me in absolute disbelief. This daring start set the tone for a story filled with suspense and unexpected turns. It was a moment that would linger in my mind as I delved further into the enigmatic world of Voulhire.

Galen, our protagonist, became a character with whom I could strongly relate. His decision to leave the Land of the Princes behind and inherit his uncle's steel business in Voulhire was an act of profound courage and hope. Galen's transformation from an outsider to an integral part of this new realm's intricate tapestry was both heartwarming and mesmerising.

Matthew Tysz's world-building abilities are nothing short of exceptional. Voulhire emerged as a kingdom with a unique history, diverse cultures, and tantalising secrets. Through Tysz's descriptive writing, I could almost feel the cobblestone streets beneath my feet, breathe in the air filled with intrigue, and rub shoulders with a fascinating array of characters.

The narrative, with its multiple intertwining storylines, was a masterclass in storytelling. The appearance of the mysterious mage on the mining coast added layers of complexity that kept me guessing about the secrets that lay beneath the surface. The connection between this enigmatic mage and Lord Eldus remains a puzzle that I yearn to solve.

Tysz's writing is marked by eloquence and attention to detail, skillfully balanced world-building, character development, and plot twists. The characters, especially Galen, underwent substantial growth throughout the story, making them feel like real individuals. I was emotionally invested in their journeys, which added depth and authenticity to the narrative.

As I progressed through the pages, the questions surrounding Meldorah's execution, the impending danger threatening the Voulhire Kingdom, and the mage's true identity only grew more pressing. This novel's ability to sustain a high level of suspense and curiosity until the very end is a testament to Matthew Tysz's storytelling prowess. I wholeheartedly rate this book five out of five stars for exceptional editing. I didn't find any grammatical errors.

In conclusion, "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" is a remarkable piece of science fiction and fantasy. My personal journey through this book was an unforgettable experience. I felt as though I had been transported to Voulhire itself, sharing in the secrets, dangers, and discoveries of its inhabitants. Matthew Tysz has crafted a masterpiece that will leave a lasting impression on all who embark on this enthralling adventure.

You put together the review really well with your style of writing. I love how you keep the paragraphs short but the review detailed. I also find it very commendable of how transparent you are about relating youself to Galen. Very well done.
