Welcome to the world of magic!
Castle Hilport was calm and quiet until the night of the attack. The guards couldn’t hold it, as a strong magical power was involved in the attack. The magistrate of the city, "Meldorath,” who was the leader of this attack, took over the castle using his magic powers, arrested the Lord Orlin for indecent acts upon children, and was later killed. Magistrate Meldorath became “Lord Meldorath”. After a few months, the king sent his army to arrest the lord, and it was told he was dead. Is the lord with magic power really no more? Why do people still experience strange incidents even after he is dead? What is in the strange castle guarded by 33 naval ships?

Galen Brey, from the Land of the Princes, a land filled with war and hunger, was lucky to receive papers from his great uncle's executor. He escaped from the Land of Princes and traveled to the city of Magnum Caelum, a small city in Voulhire, to claim his great-uncles estates. What will happen to Galen in the Magnum Caelum?
Lord Eldus Alderman, who was appointed as the new lord of Hilport Castle by the king, is trying to recover the city from the bad experiences of the first two lords. Will he be able to save the citizens as well as his own family? What will he find in the old notes of Meldorath?

To find out the answers, you must definitely read Matthew Tysz’s masterpiece, We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies.

I love how this mystery-filled suspense novel grabs the reader’s attention from the beginning of the story and keeps things intriguing, fast-paced, and unpredictable. The story has a great plot, which moves in unexpected ways with twists and turns that keep the reader glued to the book until the end of the story. I’m really amazed at the author's ability to build stories and strong characters. The humorous dialogues between Galen and Rowan are really interesting.

Some of the chapters are written from the first-person point of view and some from the third-person point of view, which is my least favorite aspect of the book. It’s mainly because I like to read books written from the first-person point of view. However, I don’t think it will harm the interest in the book.

The book was professionally edited and really enjoyable to read. In conclusion, I am glad to have read this book, and I happily rate it five out of five stars. I would highly recommend it to lovers of suspense, magic, and fiction.
