Sent to Watch is a science fiction novel written by David J. Lebenstein. The story explores various planets, encounters with aliens, and the exploration of different civilizations. The book delves into the author's imaginative concept of what could transpire when Earth-like planets exist and agents are dispatched to these worlds to gain insights into their cultures and knowledge.

The story unfolds against the backdrop of Waterloo. All the inhabitants of various planets unite to form an alliance. This alliance is focused on assessing Earth 48, our planet, to determine its potential membership within their coalition. The book primarily revolves around three agents representing multiple planets who are tasked with exploring Earth 48. These agents are stationed in England and have the responsibility of observing Earth 48 without posing any threat to it.

In the course of the story, the two agents, Svavapas and Vlaytork, eventually develop a close relationship and even become parents, a situation that goes against the regulations of the interplanetary confederation. The consequences for these agents and the fate of Earth 48, as well as the ensuing challenges faced by the planet and the influence of the alliance on it, are key elements to explore in the narrative.

There are many aspects of this book that I appreciate. Firstly, I admire the author's imaginative exploration of what might occur if there were beings on other planets and how they might interact with our Earth. Secondly, I find the historical and political elements within the book intriguing. Lastly, I am captivated by the author's engaging storytelling style.

There is nothing I dislike about the book. It is professionally edited, as I couldn't identify any errors within it. I can confidently assert that this book is exceptional. There are a few sensual scenes, but they are not excessively explicit. There is borderline profanity in the book.

I give Sent to Watch 5 out of 5 stars, attributing this to the author's brilliant imagination and the engaging, excellent narration. I highly recommend this book to individuals who love science fiction books.
