The book Sent to Watch by David J. Lebenstein is a book that tells the story of multi-planetary travel by aliens to collect civilization intelligence on technology and cultural improvement from other planets. Firstly, they discovered five earths, and those earths formed a group known as the Confederation of Civilized Planets. These earths came together to look for new planets by sending in field agents to survey the new planets but never to interfere in their development. They later discovered nineteen more inhabited planets named Earth six to twenty-four.

They started to face threats from the ever-increasing Vittmian Empire. The ruler of this empire is a dictator. The ruler of this empire is a dictator. His mission is to discover and conquer every earth in its way. At the initial point, they were observing their action with the rule of non-interference, but they soon discovered the confederation agents; on testing them, they found them to be superior beings to the earth’s inhabitants, seized them, and declared war against them, killing and utterly destroying their base. These actions made the confederation send out information that they were at war with the Vittmian Empire. This war came to an abrupt end when the Vittmian called for a ceasefire. Two opposing forces signed a peace treaty to end their conflict.

The space traveling and adaptation school for the learning of confederation history, science, mathematics, and Grellish are the things I like most. The book shows an exceptional multi-factored government across space. Every action was pre-planned, rules obeyed, each earth made to progress at its pace, agents deployed to maintain balance, and the discovery of more earth.

The book is inspirational, educational, and politically well-structured. I like the book title. The numerous lessons are the positive aspects of the book. There are no negative aspects to the book. I least like the rule of non-interference, but I discovered that it is the best thing that helped them achieve their goal. The book editing is perfect. I rate the book Sent to Watch by David J. Lebenstein 5 out of 5 stars. The reasons for my rating are above.

I recommend the book to lovers of historical narrative. I recommend the book to initiators of change.
