An interstellar probe known as The Sagan is sent to bring back soil samples from a biosphere, and a scientist, Dr. Avery Hutton, was called to analyze the microbes. Dr. Hutton moves to a space station called Randleman in an orbit above Earth, where dangerous microbes that can cause havoc on Earth are kept. Dr. Hutton meets Elia Trau, a man under his supervision who is Biohazard Level 4 qualified, his boss, Diane, and Tone, and gets to talking with them. The Sagan finally landed and came along with samples from an entire solar system. During analysis, the team found out about a particular form of life that the scientists referred to as the “Beta Strain” among the samples. What is so peculiar about this microbe? Find out more in this intriguing short book by getting a copy of this book and enjoying the ride with these scientists.

Alien Plague is a 112-page fictional book featuring science, aliens, and space. The author writes a story about how a deadly pathogen strikes a space station and spreads throughout the world. The author used the first narration style to write the story, with Dr. Hutton as the main character. In this short read, one can picture scenes of empty streets and hospitals filled with infected patients.

I enjoyed reading this book. I got hooked as I read about this pathogen and keep hoping there will be a solution to it. I could picture the scenes as if it were a movie. I admired Avery and his zeal to offer a solution to Pathogen Six. I was intrigued by the step Lei took by volunteering to help Avery and his team. These people are my favorite characters, and I admire their tenacity. If there was anything I learned from the story, it was that you were scaling through your present situation and still reaching out to help someone. Avery didn't just relax and wait for whatever the doctor had to say. He kept on thinking and proposing solutions to the situation. A great message this book is passing on is the importance of cooperation and teamwork during crises. It would have been bad if the higher-ups didn't hear out whatever Avery was suggesting after the incident.

The suspense and character development are highlights for me in this book. Majorly, the character development is superb because I could keep up with the names of everyone in the story. When they got to Failsafe station, there was an introduction of another set of characters, but I loved that they were all active in the story. The dialogue flow is natural. The characters' reactions are believable, and each of them is relatable. The author did a great job with them, and I admired him. The world-building is intriguing, with a believable description that sucked me into the book. The deaths were perfectly introduced, which strengthened the suspense.

There was something I didn’t like about the book itself. The book was well organized, but the font size was small, making it stressful to read until you zoom in on the page. That was the only flaw for me, but it wouldn’t make me remove a star from the rating I should give it. The book was professionally edited, as I found just an error while reading. Therefore, I will rate Alien Plague by Christopher Koehler 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to lovers of science fiction books, alien movies, and those interested in space. The book is suitable for all ages of readers, young and old.

I am a fan of science fiction, so I think I would enjoy the book you reviewed. I appreciate the balanced way you presented both the strengths and weaknesses of the book, and I agree with your assessment that the characters are relatable. I look forward to reading more of your reviews in the future.

This seems to be an engaging science fiction novel and I'm curious about the nature of the pathogen and the struggle to contains the epidemic it caused. Thank you for your great review!
