Wow, what a fascinating premise! A war veteran years felt like his life was wasted fighting in the war. He then find an immortality pill that will allow him to live eternally. The war veteran takes this as a chance to live a life he desired. I’m excited to look into this book!

Based on what I read in the sample, I understand why the narrator wants immortality. However, won't you be lonely if you're the only immortal on Earth and all your loved ones die? I'm interested in alternate history novels, and I find this one unique due to its religious and spiritual theme. Thanks for your review.

I really don't know how life feels like after serving one's country. It seems to come with a special kind of feeling. Great relatable history book.

These book is about the men who was in US army during the time of world . These book is really very fascinating, especially for the ones who like to travel and learn . Because, these 21 y/o guy has been roaming constantly around the different parts of the world since after the end of world War 2 . And the most interesting thing is that even though he was not able to understand there languages while traveling he used to lstay there with them and tried to learn from them the right way of living a happy life. These book is full of emotion , enthusiasm, spirit and courage. And most importantly as the name " immortal " suggests that the one who never dies , these character can never die because he had already lived 1000 lives.

This is a very positive review and I liked how you covered everything in this novel. I don't know much about Buddhist culture but after reading this I'm now interested in knowing more. Lovely review👌🏽.

Interesting premise! I love books that mix fantasy and history. It is intriguing that the plot is based on truth historical events and that the author "delves into the dichotomy between the Buddhist and American cultures". That the characters are complex and relatable is another bonus. Good job on the review!

I would enjoy this fantasy novel because it’s setting is the Nazi era and world war 2. Steven sounds like a likeable character. Thanks for this review.

What an interesting review. I feel like I should grab this book right now. I'm gonna wait though. The religious aspects may not sit well with me currently, but it seems fun viewing other people's perspectives on immortality.

Anesu Kahari wrote: 09 Sep 2021, 17:26 The book has quite the premise. There are some intriguing and bewildering elements, like Jesus not being from this planet. Overall, it seems to be a fascinating read. Great job on the review.

From my understanding of the sample I read, I thought this book will be about the immortality pills but the review says it involves a lot of Buddhism which is surprising. The sample was enough to pique my interest in the book and this review definitely adds on to that.
