‘’The Sound of Creation’’ by Gabriella Zielke is a book once picked up cannot be put down again until the conclusion, Zielke has skilfully weaved together a combination of two distinct worlds – bustling Los Angeles as we would know it in present day and a completely innovative new dimension where creators shape planets and things of fantasy are abundant.

We are introduced to two main characters who are as different as the worlds they come from, Ava Lawson, a determined trader grappling with the pressure to prove her algorithm’s worth, and Zek, an apprentice creator in a higher dimension faced with the consequences of defying long-held traditions.

Perhaps what makes Zielke’s book so unique is the combination of financial elements affected by the supernatural, the blending of financial jargon and mystical occurrences create an immersive reading experience, through which the reader can begin to question the intricacies of the financial markets and the metaphysical elements of creation.

Zielke employs truly imaginative and well executed twists and turns to keep the readers engaged and eager to uncover the secrets of creation and the connection between the two main characters worlds. We as the reader can only gasp as Ava experiences a series of unexplained events that lead her to a profound realization about the true nature of her trading algorithm.

Unfortunately, it is the uniqueness of the concept of this vision with which Zielke has shared with us that may fail to grasp the average reader’s attention. In order to truly appreciated the fantastical world that Zielke has created the reader will have to possess a truly open mind as the book delves deep into the topic of creation in a way which has never been seen before, a topic which in itself can be a controversial one.

Overall, ‘’The Sound of Creation’’ offers a immersive literary experience the likes of which have not been seen before and that which lingers in the reader’s mind long after the final word.

Which is why this book is well worth the 4 out of 5 stars I have given it.
