We Are Voulhire: New Arrival Under Great Skies written by Matthew Tysz will not disappoint the fantasy readers among us. This is a well written, fast paced book that is introducing the many characters and the world of Voulhire for the following series of 6 books. There are a wide range of characters from the mighty King Wilhelm to the lowly servant Beverly, the Mianoran Knights, and the dancing warriors of the Riva Rohavi. Our main character is the refugee Galen Bray who is rescued from the Lands of the Princes. He has inherited his deceased uncle's forge and his home. This will be his story of amazement and wonder at his good fortune, but also disbelief at the evil that is in play in the county of Voulhire and the hearts and minds of many of its citizens. He will learn of the capacity of deceit and evil in all men both high born and lowly. He meets several people who are all too willing to assist him on his journey. Some are not very honorable and only seek the money they can get so easily from this naive young man. Galen's grandmother taught him, See the good in everything, and the best of it will find you; this is what will surely see him through all the pitfalls ahead. There are also many other characters introduced in this book that are good and evil. Lord Meldorath, the mage-commander, is surely to be one of the characters to watch as he exacts his revenge on the king and his house for the time Meldorath spent in captivity. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the remainder of the series!

Rating this book was not difficult at all, 5 stars! The story is well written, the characters are colorful and relatable, and the locations are so graphic!! Very good job My Tysz! At no point in the book was I bored or struggling to stay involved!

The editing was flawless, which is a plus, because that would have taken away from a wonderful story.
