We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies.

The kingdom of Voulhire under King Wilhelm's rule is overflowing with trade and economic success, an envy of a fast-changing world. During this time of abounding wealth and success, many seek to profit from it and take it for themselves. Even if they have to betray others from their realm. Galen Bray is an immigrant from The Lands of the Princes, a war-torn land across the seas in the middle of fighting a civil war. On his travels to discover his place within Voulhire after a letter that was his ticket to Voulhire, he meets a friend who helps change his perspective on life in this new thriving land. Little do they know it is not peaceful at all and they may be a very important piece to return it to a peaceful land.

Can Voulhire rid itself of the dark shadows crawling around readying to take over? Or is it going to need extra help from an unlikely source?

This book has become one of my favourites. I enjoyed every page of it and there is never a dull moment. The characters are so perfectly and consistently written I felt I knew them personally. Also, each chapter is based on the perspective of one character which has helped the character's development immensely. The basis of the book is world-building to prepare for the following books which I found very interesting but may put some people off who want to read one book and be done. I encourage you to give this book a try as it is amazing you will not regret reading it. This book is so well written without any errors I could tell the author was passionate about this book.

I will add there are light sexually inclined scenes in this book and light profanity so I wouldn't recommend this as a children's/ teen book. The cover does not indicate any of this and may incline this audience.

I would give this book 5 out of 5. I appreciate the time and effort that was put into this book. I am left on the edge of my seat ready for the next book already.
