Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
In We are Voulhire: In Matthew Tysz's novel A New Arrival under Great Skies, the author takes us to the fantasy kingdom of Voulhire. The Emperor of Lullabies owns the sea around Voulhire, which he gave to his sons in the form of four islands to the southwest of Voulhire. The Emperor intended to distract himself from the threat of being killed by his sons, who aspire to take the throne, with this generous gift. From that point forward, these islands, known as The Grounds of the Rulers, have been in a consistent condition of war released by the Head's children against one another. From the conflicting Lands of the Princes, the desperate fugitives were moving to Voulhire, where they were causing havoc in the cities and causing problems for the locals. With the exception of exceptional circumstances, the king of Voulhire eventually had to restrict immigration from the Lands of the Princes. The life of Galen Bray, a twenty-eight-year-old native of the Land of the Princes, is brightened by a glimmer of good fortune in this context. As the sole successor to his late distant uncle who claimed a fashion in Voulhire, Galen is conceded the citizenship of Voulhire, and he sheets a boat to escape The Grounds of the Rulers for Voulhire. Perusing this book, we join Galen on his movements and find Voulhire and the mind boggling experiences that lie ahead for him.
We are Voulhire: The fantasy A New Arrival under Great Skies is fascinating. The writer unbelievably creates and associates a few strings of the plot, providing the perusers with a healthy image of life in Voulhire. Perusing this book, I felt as though I were out there in Voulhire, encountering the experiences close by Galen on his journey to get familiar with the exchange of a metal forger in this dreamland. All along, I took in a flash to Galen, not least in light of the fact that in his life he attempts to heed his grandma's guidance - "See the positive qualities in all things, and its best will track down you." ( page 15, the fourth paragraph) – regardless of the difficulties and dangers he faces in his life. My favorite part of the story is this.
In addition to Galen's adventures, the author introduces other plot points that captivated me. The two universes - Universe and Caromentis - that exist together in Voulhire; the secret encompassing the removal of Ruler Meldorath; the heavenly situation that transpire in the Meldorath's palace; the gift to Galen of a lactis iron bar by a puzzling mage; and how these events are connected; the plot of this book is driven by these and other distinct but intertwined threads, making it engaging and enjoyable to read.
I likewise appreciated that this book is more than just an elegantly composed dream. The author bravely discusses the issues of pedophilia and immigration from conflicting nations.
Last however not the least, I appreciated that this book is the first book in quite a while are Voulhire series of nine books, and I anticipate my get-together with Galen in the following book of the series.
I detested nothing in this captivating book.
The book is astoundingly well-altered, and I tracked down no blunders. I completely partook in each episode, so I joyfully rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
I prescribe this book to a wide grown-up crowd of enthusiasts of imagination and experience. The book's title and cover don't look verifiably "grown-up", and youthful youngsters might feel enticed by the strange word "Voulhire" and by the fascinating notice of "Fresh debut" in the book's title. So I should specify that the book has gentle physically charged scenes. In a similar vein, the book contains only a few mild instances of profanity. The book is inappropriate for children because of these instances.
