Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies

Review of We are Voulhire:A New Arrival under Great Skies
We are Voulhire:A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a book that transports readers to a world of ancient rulers,mystical forces and thrilling action.The author transports his audience to Voulhire,a land surrounded by sea and led by King Wilhem Arcolo.
The story begins with a hopeful young man,Galen,who leaves The Land of Princes headed to a town,Magnum Caelum,located in Voulhire.He journeys to this town following the message he got from his uncle's executor to go and take over his uncle's business as he is dying.The young man is happy to escape the poverty and starvation in the Land of the Princes which is as a result of the war among the kings of the three islands that surround Voulhire.On his journey he meets other people headed to different parts of Voulhire.
The king of Voulhire,King Wilhem, as well as the people he rules join together to celebrate the Feast of Human Hands.This is a well known feast which is celebrated with vigour and immense joy in the people's hearts.A feast written more boldly than anniversaries and birthdays.King Wilhem joins his people as well as other invited guests to celebrate the year's success and pray for more prosperity in the following year.He is cheered by his people as he enters the White Square as they look upto him as their icon.
The king is surrounded by an army of support system which includes the High Chancellor and the chiefs of staff who help him in ensuring that peace prevails in his land.They advice the king on matters to do with Voulhire.
I liked how the author used his skill to captivate and immerse me into the book with his fluency,his style of narration and the right choice of words.The author brought out the ancient lordship and the use of magic in a truly magical way.I can't wait to journey on with Galen and see him take over the so-told business from his dying uncle.I also liked how he brought about major themes such as Pedophilia which is actually a major concern in the times we live in.
I did not encounter any typing errors,instead I was mesmerised by the eloquency and the right choice of words.I doubtlessly rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
I did not dislike any single thing in this book.
I recommend this book to lovers of ancient lordship,thrilling action and use of magical powers.This book has undoubtedly brought out these aspects in a phenomenal way.However,I would not recommend it to children as it has some mild sexually charged scenes.Other than that,I think it can be turned into a really unique and interesting series or movie.
