It was an EPIC read. It was my pleasure reading this and writing a review. The way the author took the plot was beautiful. I am waiting for the next book. I would like to read more of his work.

A captivating fantasy is We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies. The plot's multiple threads are expertly developed and connected by the author, providing the readers The way the story is skillfully developed and tied together gives readers a complete image of Voulhire's way of existence. As I read this novel, I had the impression that I was actually in Voulhire, sharing in Galen's exploits as he sought to master the blacksmith's craft in this fantastical setting.

Matthew Tysz's We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies transports us to Voulhire, a fictional realm. The Emperor of Lullabies owns the sea surrounding Voulhire, and he gave his sons four islands to the southwest of the city. The Emperor intended this extravagant present to draw attention away from the possibility of being slain by his sons as they vie for his reign. Since then, these islands, known as The Lands of the Princes, have been constantly at war, with the Emperor's sons pitting themselves against one another. The desperate fugitives were flocking to Voulhire from the warring Lands of the Princes, causing chaos in its cities.

The monarch of the Voulhire eventually had to forbid immigration from the Lands of the Princes unless there were exceptional reasons. In the midst of all of this, twenty-eight-year-old Galen Bray, a native of the Land of the Princes, finds some luck in his life. Galen receives the citizenship of Voulhire as the only successor to his late great uncle, who owned a forge there. He then boards a boat to depart The Lands of the Princes in favor of Voulhire. As we read this novel, we go with Galen as he discovers Voulhire and the amazing adventures he has ahead of him.

I would happily give 5 stars for this book. It was beautifully written and edited well. It took me to another world. Only some books will have such effect on you. You would feel like you have been sucked inside the book and have been transported to another world. I had such beautiful experience with this book. At the end of the day when you come down from the high you feel the reality set in and it would be disappointing that something good has already ended. This book will give you such high. So I recommend you to read this book. You will not be disappointed.
