I am not very fond of reading books that are mainly about wars, historical times, kings, and kingdoms, but this book though has all the content written about these things but since they were written in too much detailed oriented descriptions of the artistic features and the characters of the old times with some conversations happening among the characters in engaging tones, it came out to be an interesting read altogether. When I started reading, it was a different feeling but when I continued reading, I started developing interest in how the little stories or abstracts of the fictitious historical concepts were described in not only interesting but entertaining tone as well.

It was also interesting on how the short fictitious stories written by the author take shapes and different forms with time changing the context, creating interest among the readers and making them just be going with the flow of the authors’ stories. It talks about how the public interacts, behaves and lives within the kingdom and with their king while the narratives of their interactions are also entertaining. When at one time, the author describes about the war and how soldiers fight with the enemies ruling out the king of the time, the other time the author makes the readers be deeply in love with finding out how the crowd or audience interacts with each other in celebrations and get togethers, and how people talk about the place Voulhire, its economy, and how people belonging to Voulhire take pride in being part of it.

I would rate this novel as 5 star because of the way the stories are so well written and described in a very interesting, engaging and mood-changing way. The only suggestion could be about that the flow of the stories sometimes confuses me, trying to push myself more on what the author is trying to say and what message he may want to convey but overall, it’s an entertaining fiction to read during free times.
