we are Voulhire:A New Arrival Under Great Skies by author Matthew Tysz. The book is set in mediaeval times. The book centers around Voulhire which is a physical place where everyone from different places planets (such as the coramantis) is welcome to live. It is also about magic, different kinds of magic and levels of power. One with great powers is Delahei who is introduced in the beginning of the first chapter. His power is out of this world as well as a threat to many. His power creates enemies who wants to see him down and out.

Voulhire has enemies who wants to destroy it and it's people. They will go through any length to do just that. They kill the innocent while dancing because in every war there are casualties. This is a series so everything will make sense the story continues. The characters will get their story told. The book starts off pretty slow and only gets interesting towards the end. Give this book a chance and a little bit of patience when reading. In the end you will find that it is really worth it.

What I like about the book is the flow of words and how easy it is to understand without needing the dictionary. It makes one visualise the places and things that happen in the book. One example is the dancing while killing.

What I did not like about the book is the abrupt change of chapters. Just when you get the gist of what's happening it gets cut off to a different chapter with a different subject. It makes it seem like unfinished short stories. There are a lot of names to remember. I had to go back and forth to understand connections.

I did not see any errors. The editing I top-notch.

I rate this book four out of four stars. These are magical stars, by the way.

I recommend this book to anyone who loves fantasy fiction. I also recommend it to anyone who wants to try out a new genre.
