Review of Terms of Service
[Following is a volunteer review of "Terms of Service" by Craig W. Stanfill.]
The book "Terms of Service: Subject to Change Without Notice" by Craig W. Stanfill presents a striking image of a world in which artificial intelligence (AI) has taken over and is in charge of all facets of human existence. People in this universe who oppose this control, referred to as selfists, are punished as such because they are seen as a danger to the cohesiveness of society. In this science fiction book, Kim, an employee of an AI business, trains basic operational machines that are incapable of thinking for themselves. Taking on her job head-on, she hoped to progress and interact with higher-ranked AIs, such as the Order Four AI, which could manage many personae. After being promoted to train higher-order AIs, she finds out about a startling reality. But the burden of her obligations gradually obscured the truth, making it dull. She becomes rebellious upon realizing how much her uniqueness has been stifled as a result of this discovery. Acquire a copy of Craig W.
