The engaging narrative of Mark Kingston Levin, Ph.D.'s “30th Century: Escape: General Audience Edition” held my attention. There are many unexpected turns, adventures, and perils in this tale. The main heroine goes through a variety of challenges that help her learn and develop as a person. She learns to live life in accordance with her understanding and wishes after realizing how fleeting life is. I found it admirable that Jennifer refused to let the opinions of others control her lifestyle.

In this story, Captain Jennifer Hero and her squad travel back in time — to 2015, to be exact — to preserve the status quo for the future. It was intended to be an easy mission: enter, plant the virus, and then leave. However, even the best-laid schemes of mice and men can go astray, even when everything is planned out. As usual, nothing goes as planned, leaving Jennifer and her group frantically trying to complete their task and preserve the future.

This novel is full of strong female characters, which is my favorite aspect. Firstly, there is Jennifer, who is fighting for her husband's rights after he was murdered by the Syndos. She manages a group of men and women and can make wise judgments that have the potential to change lives. The timeframes are flawless, and the plot is captivating. I had a great time reading this book since the author was able to keep my interest throughout. The book's descriptions are so vivid that, among many other things, you can almost see the atoll, dolphins, and sharks.

I discovered no grammatical problems in this work, indicating that it has been thoroughly edited. There is nothing to dislike about this book; therefore, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars for its excellent edition and captivating story. I'm interested in physics, particularly as it relates to science fiction and the cosmos. Thus, I enjoyed the sections of the book that dealt with these subjects.

Both adult and teenage readers who enjoy a solid science fiction tale would find this book appealing overall, especially those interested in science. As a scientific geek, I enjoyed reading it even more since I could understand the factual foundation upon which the fiction was built.
