30th Century: Escape (General Audience Edition) by Mark Kingston Levin PhD.
Rating: 5 out of 5.
The story begins with hurricane-force winds battering Society Island on the ocean's surface. Advanced sensors beneath the Leviathan Unicorn reveal waves up to fifty feet high. Members of a secret society had departed from the beautiful floating city of Pacifica Anthozoa the day before. Captain Jennifer feels somewhat unhappy leaving this stunning ocean city. She commands her friend and lover, Kylie, to ask if she's ready for the mission to return to the 27th century. Kylie, a very talented girl with practical knowledge and experience, agrees, thus initiating the plot. The narrative unfolds with the traitor Syndos relentlessly pursuing them, attempting to eliminate the team. It delves into how the automatic systems cease functioning and details their survival through the storm. It explores Jennifer's access to advanced 30th-century technology and Syndos's rise to political power, obstructing the movement of astronauts. The story is rife with twists and turns, including how Marty and Lacy find Jennifer on a deserted island, her memory loss, and the subsequent revelation of her circumstances. The storytelling adeptly explains how Jennifer ended up in her current state, making it a remarkable journey.
This book deserves full points as it beautifully narrates the story of Jennifer, who experiences memory loss and is rescued by Marty and Lacy from a deserted island. The exploration of Jennifer's journey to uncover what happened to her, along with the explanation of Syndos, is captivating and keeps you engaged throughout the story.
There are no negative points to mention about this book. The development of all characters is truly remarkable, making them come alive before your eyes. Jennifer's discovery on the unknown island, her struggle to regain her memory, and the eventual revelation of the truth are depicted beautifully, making it an awesome sci-fi suspense story that will keep you engaged from start to finish. The editing is also well done, with no grammatical or spelling errors.
In conclusion, this is one of the best sci-fi books that transports you to the future. Its intriguing plot and engaging suspense will keep you on the edge of your seat, making it a must-read for fans of sci-fi fiction.
