30th Century: Escape (General Audience Edition) by Mark Kingston Levin PhD, is a masterpiece that introduces us to the mind and perspective of someone from the future, where technology is much more advanced, while navigating our society as we know it in the 21st century.

Jennifer, our protagonist, has to come to the past in order to save the future; however, what looked like a simple mission turned out to be far more complicated. Jennifer and her team face major obstacles and nuances that suppress their positivism and ability to execute their mission to the fullest. While navigating in the 21st century, Jennifer, as confused as it gets, discovers a whole new way of living and challenges that she couldn’t even believe were problems due to the incredible technology she is used to. However, she is not alone, and her path is remarkable.

What I loved the most about this book was the personality of Jennifer. As a time-traveler, Jennifer faces obstacle after obstacle, but she never loses hope or energy, trying her best to overcome these problems and complete her mission, even if the odds are against her. Also, the world-building is impeccable, as I found myself emerging in a way that almost felt like I was the one living this story. I also have to praise the connection between the two timelines, as it is both seamless and palpable at the same time, which cannot be an easy task.

With that being said, I don’t have a single downside to point out about this book, as it is a fantastic read full of adventure and creativity. Also, the book is exceptionally well edited, as I found no errors whatsoever. For this reason, I attribute this book 5 out of 5 stars and gladly recommend it to any sci-fi enthusiast who is into technology and the contrast between the future and the world as we know it.
