Dr Pantera finds himself trapped with an alien named 13 on a strange island. Dr Pantera and 13 encounter and fight many dangerous creatures that keep trying to kill them. After 13 goes unconscious while trying to save Dr Pantera’s life, the doctor is found by other humans who are also stuck on the island. He recognizes people from the past such as the Nazis and other famous individuals. All these further confuse the doctor while he’s trying to figure out how to leave the island. The inhabitants tell him no one ever leaves this island once trapped, and time stands still there, which is why the sun never sets.

Stone and his friends find out that their friend, the doctor is in a different time with 13. They would have to do some time travel if they are to find the doctor and the alien. A cocaine-addicted alien called Frost joins this group. Using alien technology, Frost helps them travel through time to find their friends. However, during this trip the friends end up separated. They end up in different places at different times and have to find each other again. During their quest, they fight pirates, zombies, gods, raptors, werewolves, many weird creatures and the dark evil that seeks to destroy the world.

One of my favourite things about this book is the fact that it was edited amazingly well. This made my reading easier and all the more pleasurable. Another thing I loved was the author’s vivid description of the fight scenes. Reading this book was like watching an action movie. I also loved how the book was fast-paced. Right from the beginning of the book till the very end, the action went on without any lag. The book was so interesting that once I started reading it, I did not want to stop.

There was nothing I disliked about this book. This is the second book in its series, but I understood it quite well without ever reading the first installment. For the aforementioned reasons, I rate this book five out of five stars.

I recommend WTF! The Chase by Marc Longcor to adults who enjoy reading fantasy fiction and books with lots of action. I do not recommend it to underage readers, those who dislike scenes of same sex relations or those who dislike books with lots of profanities. Anyone who could be triggered by scenes depicting the use of hard drugs should also stay away.
