EMA by Aian D. Grey is a science fiction book that tells the story of a sophisticated artificial intelligence (AI) known as EMA, which was created by billionaire Damien Minsky. The story is set in a future world that is extremely hot and plagued by recurrent heat waves due to climate change. EMA was designed to help provide solutions to the environmental crisis caused by climate change. The story begins by shedding light on the life of a young man named Jason, who attends a conference organized by billionaire Damien Minsky, the creator of EMA. While at the conference, Jason encounters a lady named Lidia who is highly skeptical about Minsky's AI. This leads Jason to deeply explore EMA, and as the story progresses, a series of events soon reveal a conspiracy surrounding the AI.
I really liked a lot of things about the book, most especially the author's creation and depiction of what a future world plagued by environmental crises due to climate change would look like. I also liked how the author portrayed artificial intelligence (AI) and other futuristic technology. The concept of AI saving the world and the various debates that arise about the uncensored powers of AI and the potential risk of putting too much faith in it were also things I liked about the book. The book really awakens the imagination of the reader, and I believe this makes it even more enjoyable to read.
There was nothing to dislike about the book for me. The author really did a good job with the development of each character; the plot was excellent, and the storytelling was top-notch. I also did not come across any grammatical or spelling errors while reading the book, as it was exceptionally well edited. Hence, I'll be rating it 5 out of 5 stars.
I'll recommend this book to people who love reading science fiction books. People interested in the concept of artificial intelligence (AI) will also find this book to be very helpful.
