The Devil Pulls the Strings is written by J. W. Zarek. It is a fictional book that contains fantasy and is suspense-filled.

Flynn is a close friend of the twenty-two-year-old Boone Daniels and was injured by Boone Daniels, which led to his admission to the hospital. In Boone's feeling of guilt, he promises his friend Flynn to play his next gig, as Flynn is part of a band. In order to learn more about the band, Flynn instructs Boone to meet Professor Stones in the city of New York. Boone gets to the location and is on time to capture an event that changed his life in the book.

Sapphire Anjou, the secretary of Professor Stone, meets Boone Daniels at an unexpected event, and unknown to Boone, he is in possession of three composition stones by Niccolò Paganini, which, to his unawareness, is the cause of the clash between two societies.

Sapphire is the character I admire the most; her talented skill on the violin should be observed greatly, and due to her performance, she is my favorite character in the book. Her great performance was seen by all at the Paganini's competition that happened at her college, and I was so happy that her professor, Professor Wickhamby, testified to her amazing talent.

I love how the author did not fail to include some sarcastic statements in his book; it made me laugh and be joyful while reading through it. I also love how descriptive the author made the musical instruments, especially the violins; the instrument source of production was written understandably by the author. I dislike the effects the author tried to put in some scenes, like the sound effect of a car hit. We can absolutely imagine what the scenario will look like, and I don't even know how to pronounce appropriately the effect words that were used in the book.

I recommend this book to readers who love fantasies, as this is one of the best few selected books I have read so far in a long while. I applaud the author for his flawless editing in this book, and in respect to this and my love of this book, my rating for this book is a perfect 5 out of 5 stars.
