For example, the extensive descriptions of medical procedures and the protagonist’s backstory did not contribute to the storyline, making it tedious to read and causing me to lose interest. Additionally, the book felt more like a critique of the medical industry than a thriller. Due to these issues, I am giving it a rating of 3 out of 5 stars, deducting two stars for redundancy and excessive focus on details that don’t add to the story’s depth and intrigue, which made the book fall short of my expectations. Nonetheless, the editing was professional and flawless; I didn’t notice any errors.
