"Creator of Worlds" by D. Barrington Page is an immensely captivating dystopian science fiction novel that follows the story of Naval Officer Beca Adia and Matthew.

Twenty-four years ago, Beca witnessed a horrific scene that changed the trajectory of her life. She decided to join the Navy. The year is 2024, and a single "flash" has destroyed the world and left survivors at the mercy of an extreme organization with affiliations to the Vatican; they call themselves "The Glory Few." The global grid was fried; the flood has left billions dead and millions dying without food and water. When Beca finds out that the same man was responsible for the tragedy she witnessed twenty-four years ago and the one she just witnessed, she must survive against all odds to get her revenge.

One notable strength of the book is its multiple-character perspective on storytelling. Across the pages, the book occasionally switches between the major characters (Beca, Matthew, and James) and their flashbacks as well. This contributed more to the story's development and helped readers understand the motivation behind the actions of almost every character. I must also commend the character development, and world-building, which are other important strengths of the book, every major character as well as some side characters like the Furst Twins, Samantha, and Henry Somerset were developed and did not seem made up on the fly. Lastly, the author's vivid descriptions and illustrations are not to be overlooked. The author was able to paint a world readers can imagine easily as they read on.

I had no dislikes whatsoever for the book. Although I did notice a few grammatical errors, they weren't enough to disrupt my reading experience.

Overall, I'd rate D. Barrington Page's "Creator of Worlds" 5 out of 5 stars for the author's incredible world-building, character development, and vivid descriptions.

I'd recommend the book to fans of dystopian science fiction novels. The book, however, contains profanities and some degree of sexual content, so it isn't suitable for a younger audience.

I like books with suspense. The inter switch scenes from one character to the other shows professionalism of the author to me. The reviewer's inability to find any dislike in the book speaks well of the author's and editor's work.

I'm not sure I want to read a dystopian story that also seems apocalypctic right now but this one has plot and characters well developed with vivid descriptions, so I might give it a try when I'm in the right mood. Thank you for your great review!
