Review of Siblings
"Siblings" by Zsa Zsa Tudos is truly a unique book, both in its story and its writing style. When I first started reading, I was eager to know everything about the book—the storyline, the main characters, and how it would progress. But I was in for a surprise. At first, I thought the story would focus on Hades and his relationship with Zeta. However, about halfway through, I became convinced it was about the destruction of a massive number of malicious robots programmed by Caetan. By the end, I realized it was teaching lessons to the reader without overly focusing on the plot. It was not about a typical protagonist-antagonist situation but rather focused on the discussions between various characters and the lessons they had learned, which formed the basis of their conversations. The book contains strong sexual content, so if you're deciding whether to read it, this is an important factor to consider.
I appreciated the book for its insightful lessons and informative content. Every dialogue between characters is geared towards imparting fresh knowledge to the reader or encouraging them to view life from a different perspective. But there were drawbacks to it too. These include difficulty in understanding both the content and the intended message, as well as a lack of direction in the storyline. For example, at first, it was hard for me to grasp all the characters, their relationships, and their connections to each other. Characters seemed to appear out of nowhere, making it challenging to follow their interactions. Also, some of their conversations did not seem to contribute to the development of the story. The characters seemed to struggle with English, leading to many grammatical errors in their conversations, further confusing the reader. It isn't easy to keep track of the numerous characters and their relationships while trying to understand the plot, especially when the characters do not speak clearly in English. The book was well-edited since the grammatical errors were intentional, reflecting the author's unique writing style. There may be a sequel to the book, which could provide more clarification on the story and the relationships between characters.
Due to the above reasons, I am giving it a rating of three out of five. This book would be beneficial to very open-minded readers who don't mind an unclear storyline. However, I would not recommend it to those who are bothered by strong sexual content or who prefer clear and straightforward storylines.
