"The Requium Report" by Alison Demzon is a compelling blend of science fiction and thriller, spanning 377 pages and divided into 25 engaging chapters. The narrative follows Stephanie McIntyre, a private investigator tasked with finding a missing scientist named Matt. Her search leads to the discovery of a portal generator, opening access to another dimension. This discovery uncovers a sinister plot by Jim Geigoryan, a religious fanatic determined to eradicate the LGBTQ community in both dimensions. Stephanie, a transgender woman, finds herself at the forefront of this battle, facing immense challenges and betrayals as she fights to save her community and, ultimately, the world.

One of the most remarkable aspects of "The Requium Report" is its realism, despite being a science fiction novel. The depiction of religious extremism, personified by Jim Geigoryan, resonates deeply with real-world issues, making the plot believable and relatable. Geigoryan's character, driven by a distorted interpretation of divine will, highlights the dangers of fanaticism.

The protagonist, Stephanie McIntyre, is a well-developed character whose struggles with her identity and societal acceptance add depth to the narrative. The book sensitively addresses the challenges faced by transgender individuals, such as misgendering, adding a layer of social commentary to the thrilling plot.

The supporting characters, like CompTeza and Red, are equally well-crafted. CompTeza’s cheerful disposition and readiness to fight, alongside Red’s selflessness and dedication, enrich the story and provide strong, relatable figures that readers can root for.

"The Requium Report" is a must-read for adults who enjoy science fiction and thrillers. Its realistic portrayal of societal issues intertwined with a gripping sci-fi plot makes it a standout novel.

This book deserves a perfect 5 out of 5 stars rating for its well-organized plot, well-developed characters, and thrilling scenes that keep readers on the edge of their seats. It is exceptionally edited, with vivid descriptions that bring the story to life. Alison Demzon has crafted a spectacular novel that challenges perceptions and offers valuable lessons on humanity and acceptance. There is nothing that I found wrong with this book.
