The Sound of Creation by Gabrielle Zielke is a science fiction story about Ava Lawson. She's a CEO who builds a system to play a currency market, but one night it begins to play strange music. The music makes people act irrationally, even violently. Eventually, she has to run from a coup set up by one of her own. The story takes her on a long and winding adventure. She meets many new and interesting people along the way. Including a mysterious stranger who seems to know more about her than she does herself. Learning about her past, realizing the bigger part she plays in life, and hoping to protect her future and all of those who live on earth.

What I love about this is literally everything. The concept pulled me in before even reading. I was then absorbed from the moment I started. I was on the edge of my seat with every twist and turn. It is definitely a page-turner. The story was written so well. I cared about the characters and their own motives and desires. The story has an easy, steady flow with good pacing. It never felt too fast or sluggish at any point. It has amazing story development. Nothing was written in a confusing way. The actions of the characters made sense of their own personalities and motivations. I love that all of the characters were well-rounded and well-written. Not a single flat character. Each character was written to be an individual with a different voice. Although they're different from each other, they're still relatable and/or understandable. The imagery was written beautifully. I especially loved the description of Nathan's garden. I loved the parallels between Ava’s situation and Zek's situation. It added depth and importance to the story as a whole. I loved that she created friendships and built a family in the midst of turmoil. A message of hope to anyone and everyone who feels alone in their own situation and world. You can still find friendships, loved ones, and family in times of darkness and tragedy.

I give this 4 out of 5 stars. I absolutely loved this story. There are brief mentions of nudity and a scene alluding to sex. There is adult language sprinkled throughout, but it isn't overwhelming and doesn't detract from the story. I noticed one typo; besides that, I didn't notice any other grammatical or punctuation errors. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys science fiction and anyone who enjoys a really good story.
