"We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" is the first book in Matthew Tysz’s enchanting We Are Voulhire series. This book presents a vividly imagined world of magic and the war-torn Land of the Princes.

The main story begins in the war-torn Lands of Princes, where a young man named Galen Bray receives an unexpected inheritance from his uncle, a blacksmith in the faraway town of Magnum Caelum. Galen travels to Voulhire to take ownership of his uncle's forge, hoping to flee the violence and chaos. After he arrives, Galen quickly becomes friends with Rowan, who is in charge of his uncle's belongings, and Demetrius, who has a mysterious past.

The story is driven by a sequence of interconnected stories. The presence of the Riva Rohavi, a brutal group of rebels determined to raid Hillport, adds an element of suspense and danger. At the same time, there is uncertainty surrounding Meldorath's life: is he really dead or alive? All these things together make the story more complex and exciting.

Tysz's skill in world-building is truly exceptional. The detailed kingdom of Voulhire comes alive, from the busy town of Hillport to the peaceful yet enigmatic Magnum Caelum. Every place is vividly described, and glossaries and maps improve the reading experience by helping us understand the intricate socio-political environment of Voulhire. The book, carefully crafted and rigorously edited, has no grammatical flaws.

In conclusion, "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" by Matthew Tysz is a fascinating book with elements like war, mystery, and dark magic. All of these factors make it worth five out of five stars, without any negative points, for the impressive world-building, magic, and well-developed character.

I recommend this book to readers who enjoy epic fantasy with detailed world-building and a mix of magic.
