I'll begin by giving a big thanks to Matthew Tysz, the author of We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, for writing this amazing book. This book centres on the kingdom of Voulhire and its inhabitants. The major characters explored include Galen Bray, Rowan, King Wilhelm, Eldus Alderman, and Midius Maido.

Galen Bray is a young man from the Land of Princes. There's an ongoing war that has lasted for twenty-four years, coupled with starvation in the land. This is because of the quest for power by the four princes, who wanted to have dominion over the land. He manages to escape death by boarding a ship heading to Magnum Caelum, which is relatively safer. In Magnum Caelum, he meets Rowan, his uncle's executor, who helps him take possession of his uncle's steel forge business and other possessions. Rowan, a total stranger to Galen, surprisingly turns out to be very honest. He is selfless and kindhearted, and he puts Galen through everything he needs to know about his uncle's business and the land of Voulhire.

On the other hand, there are the likes of King Wilhelm, Lord Eldus, and Midius Maido, whose lives focus more on leadership and power tussles. King Wilhelm fears dethronement as he faces opposition from Midius Maido. He is thus willing to do all it takes to remain in power. Eldus Alderman is the new Lord of Hillport. He constantly tries to bring his town to its full potential. In doing this, he must assure the people that he is different from his predecessors. The struggle to achieve a balanced life in a strange world, the power tussle, and war and famine are the key themes of this book. To get a clearer picture of this interesting sci-fi, grab a copy to find out.

I wholeheartedly give this book a perfect rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I found nothing to dislike about the book. I found no errors, indicating that it was professionally edited. I applaud the author's creativity in making up characters and places. I recommend this book to sci-fi lovers and lovers of good books. It contains some profane words, so I do not recommend it to young readers.

Thank you for penning such an awesome review. I have read this book a couple of years back and you brought memories. I remember the world-building, and it is what stayed me years after I have read it. You did amazing job in writing this review. Keep up. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on other books I have read.

This does sound like an interesting book. Fantasy novels that feature themes of war, new lands, and power struggle are usually quite interesting.
