The captivating story We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is full of hope. To give readers a sense of immersion, the author deftly integrates disparate narrative threads. Tysz skillfully creates and weaves together a variety of characters, skillfully combining them into a cohesive whole, showcasing his mastery of the written word. In doing so, he highlights the characters' experiences, accomplishments, and challenges while creating a thorough portrayal of life in Voulhire.

Galen leaves the Land of the Princes, where he had lived as a common person, at the beginning of the novel. The Land of the Princes is ruled by the sons of the Emperor of Lullabies. In order to thwart their scheme to overthrow him, he granted them the land. Galen encountered many challenges during his thrilling escape from the Land of the Princes. After his departure, Galen reached his uncle, Herr Bray's, home. His new existence began in Magnum Caelum. Meanwhile, King Wilhelm Arcolo has given Eldus Alderman orders to move from Soulhire to Hillport. He desires that Eldus restore Hillport from its ruin. The changes taking place in Hillport are noteworthy, and some of them are outside of Eldus's control. What happens when the story ends?

I adore Rowan for who he is—an open spirit, a kind heart, and a fantastic sense of humor. Despite the fact he didn't have to go as far as he did for Galen—his employer is no longer living and he has been paid for his work—he still went above and beyond as the executor of Galen's uncle's estate and developed a strong friendship and advisory relationship with Galen. The reader becomes engrossed in the story when the author successfully keeps the tension and excitement high. Tysz has cleverly arranged the surprises in each chapter and crafted a lovely book with captivating information. Observing how the characters have grown and fulfilled their roles in the story.

Because of how easily the stories were told, I really enjoyed this book. Even though the characters are from a mystery land, they still appear like real people. I was also able to locate a land that does not exist, thanks to the maps that were provided. Links to a website that provides additional details about the life and culture of Voulhire have also been provided by the author. The story contains some explicit language as well as subliminal references to rape and child abuse. However, there aren't any explicit scenes that young adult readers could find inappropriate. Professional editing was done on the book. I was unable to locate a single mistake. There is something in the book for everyone.

For all of the aforementioned reasons, I will give this book a rating of five out of five stars. Both adults and young adults can benefit from it. I will suggest this book to all advanced fantasy readers. Novices can also raise their comprehension skills.
