"We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" is the initial volume in Matthew Tysz's extensive and intricately crafted series "We Are Voulhire."

The story starts with King Wilhelm naming Judge Eldus as the new ruler of Hillport, a town within the kingdom of Voulhire. Hillport continues to live in fear of its previous ruler, Meldorath, a dangerous and mighty sorcerer believed to be dead but who still causes terror in the people of Hillport. In all this disorder, Galen Bray comes to Voulhire to find safety from the war-ravaged Land of the Princes and to take over his uncle's blacksmith shop in Magnum Caelum. Joined by his new companions Rowan and Demetrius, Galen's path to mastering his craft is filled with risks and unknowns due to the looming threat of Meldorath's expected comeback.

Tysz’s writing style is interesting and descriptive, drawing us into the story with a wide range of characters, all with unique pasts and motives. Whether it is King Wilhelm or Lord Eldus, a noble ruler working for the prosperity of their people, or Dark Mage Meldorath, whose presence looms large with an aura of mystery and fear, each character is expertly crafted to enhance the story. In addition, the book is well formatted and expertly proofread without any grammar mistakes.

In conclusion, "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" by Matthew Tysz is an epic fantasy and adventure book with themes of war, betrayal, and dark magic. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because of its vivid world-building, like Kindom of Voulhire and Land of the Princes, and its complex character development, like Galen Bray and Meldorath, with exceptional quality without negative points.

I recommend this book to fantasy lovers who love world-building, complex characters, and epic tales of magic.
