“AGENDA 2060 Book Two: AI and The View from Space” by A.I. Fabler is a thought-provoking science fiction novel set in the year 2062. The story follows Alexa Smythe, who returns to Earth after two years in space with a message for the ‘World on Fire’ cultists who believe Earth is doomed and only she can save it. The plot centers on the crumbling control of a world government and the elite’s master plan to maintain their authoritarian grip by controlling thoughts and speech globally.

The book explores deep philosophical and ethical questions regarding artificial intelligence (AI) and its role in society. It ponders whether AI can manage humanity’s darker impulses or if it will become a new form of tyrannical overlord. The narrative blends elements of advanced technology, ethics, and spirituality, offering a compelling critique of modern culture and technology projected into the future.

I love the novel for its engaging storytelling and its ability to provoke thought about the future of technology and humanity’s place within it. It effectively raises questions about the balance between technological advancement and human values, making it a standout in contemporary science fiction literature.

Overall, I'd rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because there is nothing I didn't like about it. I only found a few errors, and it's professionally edited. “AGENDA 2060 Book Two” is not just a tale of future possibilities but a reflective piece on current societal trends and their potential outcomes.

“AGENDA 2060 Book Two: AI and The View from Space” by A.I. Fabler is highly recommended to science fiction enthusiasts, fans of satire and social commentary, tech and AI aficionados, philosophical thinkers, and readers of dystopian fiction. The book’s masterful combination of engaging storytelling with profound thematic exploration makes it standout. Fabler’s ability to project today’s technological and societal trends into a plausible and thought-provoking future scenario is remarkable. The satirical elements provide a humorous yet incisive critique of contemporary culture, while the philosophical questions about AI and human nature add depth and provoke reflection long after the final page. The well-crafted characters and intricate plot keep the reader hooked, making it a thoroughly enjoyable and intellectually stimulating read.
